Adriana was born on or just before 21 October 1786 in Oud en Nieuw Gastel as child of Dominicus van der Heijden and Maria van Meel.[1] She was baptized on 21 October 1786 in the Roman Catholic church of Oud en Nieuw Gastel.[1]
On 26 July 1815 she married PIeter van den Boom. The marriage took place Roosendaal en Nispen.[2] They had at least four children:
Her husband Pieter passed away in 1823, leaving Adriana a widow.[4] Adriana passed away on 23 September 1858 in Roosendaal en Nispen at the age of 71.[3]
Research Notes
Adriana was baptized on 10 July 1776.[1] In these times children were baptized as soon after birth as possible, to prevent that the child would die unbaptized (and could not go to heaven). Hence Johanna would have been born on 10 July 1776 or in the days before.
The following name variants are used for Johanna:
Adriana van der Heijden on her baptism registration (Latin) and death certificate (Dutch).[1][3]
Adriana van der Heiden on her marriage certificate (Dutch).[2]
